Cherry Pudding

Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Baking Time : 40 minutes
Serves : 6 to 8 pers.

INGREDIENTS

             Optional : some rum

METHOD:

  • Preheat your oven at 300 degrees
  • Place the butter in a large piece of bake ware (can be shallow)
  • Place the baking pan in the oven to let the butter melt.
  • In a large mixing bowl, remove the pits of the cherries
  • Add some rum to the cherries if you decide to use rum
  • Remove the baking pan from the oven and place all the cherries evenly on the bottom
  • In a separate mixing bowl, mix the flour, the sugar and the vanilla
  • Make a hole in the center of your dry mix and pour the eggs.
  • Turn slowly and add the milk little by little
  • Wisk with a spatula until mixture is smooth
  • Pour the mixture over the cherries in the baking pan
  • Place the baking pan in the oven and bring temperature to
    325 degrees
  • Wait for approx. 40 minutes until the top of the pudding become golden
  • Remove the baking pan
  • Decorate with a sprinkling of icing sugar
  • Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
